If you are a new visitor to our website, then maybe you’re searching for a church home. We know that finding a new church home is really hard, whether you have spent your whole life going to church or this will be your first time. But be assured that God will lead you to the church family He has gifted you to be a part of and that He wants you to serve in.

So, let’s tell you a few things about Celebration Church Greentown to see if our family is where you’ve been called to be. God led us to move into our new building in Greentown in July of 2021 with plans to double its size by adding on a whole new worship space and meeting rooms. At this point we’re not a big church and our goal is not focused on simply becoming one – our calling is only to share the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ with those who don’t yet know Him and welcome those God has called to become part of His family. We’re a church full of ordinary people with everyday issues and problems just like you, who believe that there is one true God who loves us, cares for us, and has a plan and a purpose for our lives. So, coming to church here is like being part of a family with kids, moms and dads, grandmothers and grandfathers. Of course, we know all too well that sometimes families aren’t always very loving or very healthy, but we can truthfully say we are a church family where anyone will feel welcome and safe and loved – and that includes you! 

Celebration Church is different from most churches today in a very special way. The difference is that we preach and teach God’s Word in the Bible verse by verse just as He inspired it to be written – clearly, boldly, and unapologetically – and we strive to live it out. God Himself has clearly revealed to us in His Word what it means to really love Him and the people around us. Only He can tell us what it really means to be a Christian. So, we have no agenda to tell people what we think being a Christian is all about when God Himself has already told us what it means. These days many churches and people claim that they speak for God. In response to that, we say let God speak for Himself because He does in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. It’s there He tells us what the life of a real follower of Jesus should look like, and how a truly faithful church should worship and serve Him and others. 

The bottom line for us is this: Becoming like Jesus is our driving passion as we serve our risen Lord and Savior who is the central figure of the Scriptures. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation is God’s revealed saving plan for His creation through Jesus Christ. God’s Son, Jesus Christ, and His Word are central to everything that we do. Our aim as a faith community is to worship authentically and live out our faith in Christ in every area of our lives. 

That means our worship services aren’t designed to be concerts with flashing lights and fog machines to attract and entertain a crowd. There is no need for us to try to sell the salvation that only Jesus Christ can give to people as one option among many to choose from. We know that only Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the only true Son of God who loves us, sacrificed His life for ours on the cross, and rose again from the grave to save us.  That is the good news of the gospel we are not ashamed to declare to the whole world. So, whenever we gather as Jesus’ church, our desire is always to bring an offering of love and praise to our great Lord and Savior that is focused solely on worshiping and thanking Him for the gift of salvation He has given to us.

We meet every Sunday morning for worship at 10:30 AM and later upload a recording of the service to YouTube and Facebook. We hope to see you soon!
